SOUTHWEST RANCHES- In
recognition of Catholic Schools Week, ArchbishopEdwardA.McCarthyHigh
School congratulated its seniors who have been accepted to
Catholic colleges and universities throughout the United States.
"As a nation and community, we celebrate Catholic schools because we are
proud of providing an educational network which emphasizes intellectual,
spiritual, moral, physical, and social values," said Francisco H. Castillo, director of campus ministry.
Catholic Schools Week begins the last Sunday in January and
is an annual national celebration recognizing the important role Catholic
elementary and secondary schools play in providing a values-added education for
young people.
