Chaminade-Madonna Lions Varsity Football seniors signed their letters of intent at a ceremony on National Football Signing Day, February 3. HOLLYWOOD — Eight Chaminade-Madonna varsity football seniors signed letters of intent to play football in college during a “signing day” hosted by the school’s athletic department Feb. 3.
— Demitri Beal, 1st Team All-County in Defense, signed with University of Cincinnati.
— Hans Louis, named Defensive Player of the Year, signed with University of South Florida.
— Travis Bridges, 1st Team All-County in Offense, signed with the Naval Academy.
— Witney Sherry, 1st Team All-County in Defense, signed with University of Buffalo.
— Sandro Jean-Baptiste, 2nd Team All-County in Defense, signed with Southern University.
— Jamal Williams signed with Southern University.
— Charles Takeh signed with Yale University.
— Albert Gonzalez signed with Ohio Dominican.
Paul Herfurth, Chaminade-Madonna’s athletic director, spoke highly of the eight seniors.
“These seniors led Chaminade-Madonna football with heart and passion this past season. They should be proud of their accomplishments both on and off the field.”
Their head coach, Tim Tyrrell, added, “Remember gentlemen, you will always be a Chaminade-Madonna Lion.”
